It has been reported that treasury officials are planning to extend the 'latte levy' to disposable cold drinks cups that contain plastic.

In a bid to reduce plastic waste, the UK government is focusing on single use plastic waste. Around two-thirds of the UK's plastic waste comes from packaging.
