Breaking News: Single-use Plastic: Takeaways Face Ban In October
A ban on some single-use plastics will come into force in England from October, the government has announced.
From October takeaways, restaurants and cafes must stop using single-use plastic cutlery, plates and bowls. This includes single-use plastic plates, trays, bowls, cutlery, balloon sticks, and some types of polystyrene cups and food containers.
