Sustainable Hygiene in Catering & Hospitality

Now more than ever business owners and employees are focused on providing impeccable hygiene standards to keeps their communities safe.

As many of us seek to keep our impact on the environment to a minimum, headlines across UK news outlets have highlighted the the unfortunate environmental impact of discarded single-use face masks. These among other single-use plastics have proved to be particularly harmful to both wildlife & marine life.

One intention of disposables is for hygiene purposes, but it is the damaging effects from production, use and disposal that single-use plastics have on our planet that makes them entirely unsustainable.

Fortunately, compostable packaging provides a compromise. Our hygienic, single-use products are made from sustainably sourced, annually renewable plant crops and are designed to be composted along with food waste after use. This circular economy is unquestionably much more eco-friendly than single-use plastics.
